Correspondências a 2 – em memória de Rilke e Tsvietáieva
The plays was inspired by the relation kept between the poets Rainer Maria Rilke and Marina Tsvietáieva, in 1926, which ended with a posthumous letter, written after Rilke´s death. Of the many written letters, some were selected, inspiring five small pieces. The universe which was common to both authors work – lyricism, strangeness, metaphysics, widened time – is the foundation for the piece. The quintet also works with scenery elements – the instrumentalists use pencils and boards, writing using different gestures - referring to another “time” in written communication – widened – reinforcing the structures and the particular outlines of an analogical media. The piece was composed in memory of Rainer Maria Rilke and Marina Tsvietáieva, and it is dedicated to Marina Reis.
