The piece is about the limits of human nature, its inherent conflicts and its continuous confrontation with the society and the world, what can lead us to the edge of a cliff, access to the hidden places of human existence. Such conflicts are represented through the harmonic relations established during the piece, and also through the constant texture changes, sometimes sudden, sometimes gradual, that embrace all the work. It is an intricate challenge to elaborate a non-tonal harmonic speech that allows different degrees of tension and, at the same time, the construction of progressions that, as desired, transit between different degrees, connecting them. Together, these characteristics dynamize the analog psychological relations that served as motivating elements for the work.
