BRUNO RUVIARO (São Paulo – SP, 1976)
Composer and pianist from São Paulo. He studied piano and composition at UNICAMP between 1994 and 2000 and continued his studies on electroacoustic music at Studio Panorama (2001) and later became a Master in the same field at Stanford University (USA), where he has been dedicating himself to instrumental composition, such as electroacoustic music (affiliated to CCRMA - Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics), supervised by Mark Applebaum and Brian Ferneyhough. His plays have been played throughout Brazil, Europe and the USA. His music approaches several aspects, and include his work with electroacoustic music and live-electronics, linguistics, musical theatre, improvisation and sound poetry.
